Best Goals: Matchweek 11

Matchweek 11 is in the books. I had anticipated putting several goal highlights from the North London Derby in this post, but due to the fact that the game ended with only two goals resulting from an own goal by Kevin Wimmer (Tottenham) and a penalty kick from newly fit Harry Kane, I was deprived of any real sexy highlights from that game. As a result I had to look elsewhere for my Best Goals fodder.

Paul Pogba (Manchester United) channels his inner Zlatan with a side-footed rocket outside the box (14′) vs. Swansea City (1-0)

Eden Hazard (Chelsea) curls in a beauty through traffic to take the lead (18′) vs. Everton (1-0)

Eden Hazard (Chelsea) slots home goal #2 short corner (56′) vs. Everton (4-0)

Great give-and-go from Ibrahimivic (ManU) to Rooney for Ibra’s second of the game (33′) vs. Swansea City (3-0)

James Morrison (West Brom) with the perfectly redirected header (51′) vs. Leicester City (1-0)

Marcos Alonso (Chelsea) pings it in five hole (20′) vs. Everton (2-0)

Marten de Roon (Middlesbrough) helps steal a point with a no doubt header in the waning moments of stoppage (90’+1′) vs. Manchester City (1-1)

Sergio Aguero (Man City) pokes home an absolutely sensa¬†delivery from Kevin de Bruyne (43′) vs. Middlesbrough (1-0)

Connor Wickham (Crystal Palace) cuts the lead in half off an excellent delivery from Wilfred Zaha vs. Burnley (1-2)

Around the World

Kerem Demirbay crushes a ball into the upper 90 vs. heavy favorites Bayern Munich (German Bundesliga)
Chosen Son Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund) sets up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his 4th (!!!) goal of the game (48′) vs. Hamburger SV (German Bundesliga)
