UCL Corner: Fixture Forecast – Round of 16 Leg 1 (Part 1)

It’s backkkk. The greatest football tournament in the world finally returns after a two plus month layoff with higher stakes and even better competition. The sixteen remaining teams will face off in a two leg elimination format for  a chance to move on to the quarterfinals.

Last year’s champion, Real Madrid, face their first test in Napoli, while tournament upstarts Benfica face long odds in advancing versus Borussia Dortmund. Elsewhere Arsenal goes toe-to-toe with Bayern Munich in hopes of reversing their history of Round of 16 eliminations. While Barcelona and PSG kick off their fourth clash in the previous five seasons.
