It’s a snow day here at the Bakery! Thankfully the Leg 2 Champion’s League fixtures scheduled for today and tomorrow are in Europe and not Baltimore. These matches will fill out the final eight sides along with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich. On Tuesday, Leicester City hope to continue their Cinderella run through the tournament by overcoming a one goal deficit at home against Sevilla, while Juventus look to put Porto out of reach with a goal or two in their own home fixture. Wednesday afternoon offers the most intriguing matches in the quarterfinals: Atletico Madrid will attempt to hold off an embarrassed Bayer Leverkusen side that allowed four goals in Leg 1, and darlings of the tournament, Monaco, have the tall task of simultaneously obstructing Man City’s potent attack and also scoring a few goals of their own to advance to the next round.
